Short Story Contests 2011

DEADLY INK 2011 SHORT STORY COLLECTION
All stories must be no more than 5,000 words, contain mystery, murder or mayhem and take place in New Jersey.

Winners will be announced at the Deadly Ink Mystery Conference luncheon. There is no entry fee.

Prizes:

First Place: $25.00 and free registration to 2011 conference.
All other published entries: $25.00
Please note - all profits from the sales of the 2011 anthology by Deadly Ink will be donated to the Christopher Reeve Foundation

The 2011 Deadly Ink Anthology will be available for sale at the 2011 conference.

Contest Rules:
Not open to employees or family members of Deadly Ink.

Entries may not be more than 5,000 words in length, must take place in New Jersey, and include a "Deadly Incident" (murder, mayhem) that needs to be solved.

Entries must be original work of the entrant and may not have been previously published.

You do not need to attend the conference to enter the contest.

Entries must be sent to info@deadlyink.com as a word .doc or .rtf file between July 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011.

Your name should appear on the title page only. All other pages should be numbered and list the title only.
