Entries for 2008 may be submitted until April 15, 2008.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES:

Entry fee:  $25.00 (waived if atending conference)

Please submit a synopsis and first 2 chapters or 25 pages of your novel.  Please only submit entries for completed novels.  Manuscripts should generally be in the 65,000 to 100,000 word range in any mystery genre. Young adult mystery novels should be in the 35,000 to 65,000 word range.  The title page should include your name and book title.  All other pages should only contain the title.  Submissions should be double-spaced, one inch margins on all sides, in an easy to read font. Times New Roman is preferred.

Please mail your synopsis and first 2 chapters or 25 pages along with a completed entry form and $25.00 (no fee if attending the 2008 conference) to:

Finalists must submit the entire manuscript when requested.

Winner will receive $150.00 and offer of publication by Deadly Ink Press.
